Dermagran® Ointment is a pH balanced skin protectant. Formulated with Derma Sciences zinc-nutrient technology, usage of Dermagran® Ointment provides a moist, mildly acidic environment conducive to wound healing. In addition, this product contains Vitamin A, Calcium, and Magnesium. Use for abrasions, skin tears, partial thickness pressure ulcers, and preventative skin care.
XTRASORB™ is a novel super-absorbent wound dressing. At its core is a super-absorbent polymer that allows the dressing to help re-define the category of highly absorbent dressings.
Whereas other absorbent dressings (including foams, abd pads, and other cellulose-based dressings) rely on spaces within the dressings to fill with fluid, XTRASORB’s super-absorbent polymer binds to fluid and converts to a gel.
MEDIHONEY™ dressings, a unique line of dressings containing Active Leptospermum Honey from New Zealand and Australia, have been shown to possess unique qualities that make them ideal for the management of chronic and acute wounds and burns.
Because they contain a very high percentage of Leptospermum honey, MEDIHONEY dressings are able to work in the presence of wound fluid, blood, and tissue, thus promoting an optimal healing environment.
• ALGICELL™ Ag, comprised of a proprietary blend of mannuronic (high gelling) and guluronic (high wet-strength) alginic acids, is designed to gel well while keeping its physical integrity for intact removal
• The dressing’s high absorption capacity also helps to reduce the risk of tissue maceration and allows for increased time between dressing changes
